Overview
The Eco-Fest 2024 is an annual environmental event aimed at raising awareness about sustainability, promoting eco-friendly practices, and showcasing innovative solutions to environmental challenges. This event was held for 2 days, which was 27 February 2024 and 28 February 2024 at Heritage Hall, Block A, Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR), Kampar. Attendees include local residents, environmental activists, businesses, and organisations dedicated to taking proactive steps towards reducing their ecological footprint and contributing to a healthier planet.

Green Energy Asia had the opportunity to attend the Eco-Fest 2024 and open a booth to showcase our purpose of collecting Used Cooking Oil (Oil) to make sustainable Biofuel products for these 2 days. Explained UTAR students, UTAR lectures, local residents and other business colleagues to the safest and ethical way to dispose of the Use Cooking Oil (UCO) to ensure the sustainability of the environment and health.
Engagement Activities
Throughout the event, our team members actively engaged with attendees, discussing our organisation’s mission, values and sustainability efforts towards environment and health. We provided informative presentations on topics such as renewable energy, waste reduction, benefits of collecting UCO and recycling initiatives.
Networking Opportunities
The “Eco-Fest 2024” provided an excellent platform for networking with like-minded individuals and organisations passionate about environmental conservation. We seized the opportunity to establish new partnerships, exchange ideas and collaborate on future projects aimed at promoting sustainability within our community to further our shared goals of environmental stewardship.
